A Special Investigation by NFSRA Anhui Branch on Grain Saving and Loss Reduction: Walk into an Intelligent Production Line Adopting Jiexun Sorting Technology

On October 25, Mr. Ma Sanjiu, a member of the leadership of NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) Anhui Branch, member of the leadership and deputy director of NFSRA (National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration) Anhui Branch visited Shouxian Qiangqun Grain and Oil Trading Enterprise (hereafter referred to as Qiangqun Rice Mill) of Anhui province with his group and carried out an investigation on “grain saving and loss reduction”, with a focus on the intelligent production line adopting Jiexun quality sorting technology.

As an important provincial-level leading enterprise in the agricultural industrialization of Anhui Province and a national demonstration enterprise in grain and oil industry of China, Shouxian Qiangqun Grain and Oil Enterprise owns two rice production lines that could produce 100,000 tons and 37,500 tons of rice per year respectively. Since 2021, the enterprise made successive investments that totaled more than 60 million RMB and started close cooperation with Jiexun Optoelectronic to design the intelligent production line of 400 tons daily capacity, which greatly improved

the purity level and particle evenness of its rice product.

Qiangqun Rice Mill is the real practitioner that responds to the call of the country for “grain saving and loss reduction” processing technology. Through the in-depth cooperation with Jiexun to create the intelligent sorting line, Qiangqun implemented the grain saving and loss reduction technology in its entire production, which enabled it to achieve the goal of moderate processing and greatly improved its rice quality and yield rate at the same time.

Mr. Sun, the president of Qiangqun Rice Mill said excitedly: “Jiexun sorting solutions improved the rate of our high quality rice. The head rice rate in our fine rice has now reached over 98%, and our yield rate of rice has improved by 3%, which brought us an increase of revenue by more than 2 million RMB every year”.

The intelligent line of Qiangqun Rice Mill has adopted Jiexun PLUS paddy and brown rice sorting technology, which picks out paddy from the mix returned by paddy separator to the husker. The paddy picked out will return to the husker and the brown rice left will go directly into the milling section, which greatly reduces the breakage rate of brown rice and improves the yield rate. Besides, the high capacity, high precision of PLUS in the fine sorting of rice produces the excellent sorting effect of “one equals two”, which greatly reduces the loss of rice in production and improves the quality of rice product.
